Wipter is a desktop application (Windows and Mac only) that runs in the background. It intelligently taps into your unused bandwidth and uses it to contribute to web traffic. The traffic is routed through Wipter’s network and used for various online services, such as content delivery networks. Users earn passive income based on the amount of bandwidth they share with us.
Why am I being paid for sharing my idle internet bandwidth?
We pay you for sharing your idle internet bandwidth because your contribution helps generate web traffic for various online activities (e.g. content delivery, website testing etc.). By leveraging your unused bandwidth, we can fulfill our business objectives, and you’re rewarded with passive income.
Which platforms and operating systems does Wipter support?
Wipter exclusively supports Mac and Windows platforms. Mobile devices and other platforms are not compatible at this time.
Does Wipter offer content delivery services?
No, Wipter focuses solely on the traffic generated while the application is active. We do not provide content delivery services as part of our payment model.
Can I use more than one device per network?
Yes, you can use multiple devices on the same network; however, the traffic is distributed based on the public IP address. This means that having multiple devices on the same network and public IP will be treated the same as having a single device in terms of network traffic distribution.

Is it safe to share my internet with Wipter?
